Parador de La Granja

The Royal Residence of La Granja is a beautiful small town just 11 kilometers from Segovia, at the foot of the Central System mountain chain. La Granja boasts a spectacular Parador housed in the Casa de los Infantes (House of the Infantes), built by Charles III in the 18th century as a home for the infantes Gabriel and Antonio, and the headquarters of the Guardia de Corps, which contains a modern conference and convention center, just 55 minutes from Madrid.

This exclusive location offers 16 meeting rooms with a capacity of more than 600 people. The décor is modern and the rooms are bright and comfortable, all located in a historic and natural setting. A great course just minutes from our Paradores, which can be enjoyed by amateurs and professionals alike, where the personality of its designer, the two-time Masters winner and captain of the victorious 2012 Ryder Cup team, shines through. Prepared for hosting major national and international competitions, it was built in accordance with the parameters and recommendations of the USGA (United States Golf Association).

Both its creation and its subsequent maintenance involve the most demanding environmental protection measures, under a strict environmental monitoring programme, with special care for the protected ulmus-laevis (white elm) in the area and selective planting of the tree and shrub species found there. It is flat and therefore easy to walk, with an extraordinary structure of six par 3s and five par 5s.
